Tilt-up walls for fast-growing South Carolina company Sunny Days Entertainment.

Our latest project brought out the kid in all of us.

McGillicuddy Concrete was asked to help create the new corporate headquarters for Sunny Days Entertainment in Laurens County. Sunny Days, a leading children’s toy manufacturer for some of the nation’s largest retailers, has also been named “one of the fastest-growing companies in SC.”

Their 212,500 square-foot facility will integrate logistics, operations, and distribution to meet increased demand.

For this build, McGillicuddy worked alongside the contractors at Hogan Construction Group. McGillicuddy Concrete is supplying concrete slab and structures for the build. For the exterior walls, we used the “tilt-up concrete” method. Our team hand-crafts these walls on-site using wood forms, rebar, and concrete and then a crane moves the massive panels into place.

This “best in quality and service” vision is the guiding principle that our team carries with them on every job site. For McGillicuddy, it’s not about landing the biggest project, it’s about doing the best commercial concrete work possible for each and every client.

Every member of our leadership team has risen up through the ranks. We know how the job is supposed to be done, because we’ve done every job. We’ve been laborers who rose to project superintendents and beyond. This is why we’re so dedicated to training quality employees and building the best team in the business.
