Project Blue Cell

McGillicuddy lays foundation slab for 485,000 SF warehouse addition to Techtronic Industries Co. in Gaffney, SC.

We love projects with code names. Recently our team laid the foundation for a project with the code name “Blue Cell.” Hardly a project that can fly under the radar, Techtronic Industries Co. (TTI) asked McGillicuddy to pour the concrete foundation slab for their massive 485,000 square foot expansion of their warehouse and distribution center.

TTI is a tool manufacturer based out of Hong Kong. This Gaffney, SC facility expansion project comes less than a year after the warehouse and distribution center opened. The scope of Project Blue Cell was immense, including over 12,000 CY of concrete and over 50 tons of rebar for the slab alone. The second phase of the project will include exterior work. Our hard-working team members at McGillicuddy poured many hours of hard work into this project.
