Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team in Spartanburg, SC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for concrete projects and proficiency in using industry-standard estimating software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for concrete projects, considering all relevant factors.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather essential project information.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to ensure a comprehensive understanding of requirements.
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to extract necessary information for estimation.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software to create precise and competitive bids.
- Evaluate material and labor costs, subcontractor quotes, and other relevant expenses to determine overall project costs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to ensure competitiveness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for concrete projects
- Proficiency in using industry-standard estimating software
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of construction industry practices, materials, and techniques
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
